Southern Sky’s Artist and Songs of the Week

Our first edition of our to be weekly segment Southern Sky’s songs and artist of the week is here. Each week we will give our artist of the week based off of either who is coming out with new music at the time or someone we feel hasn’t gotten the amount of attention or respect they deserve. We will also be churning out our 5 songs of the week, our 5 oldie songs of the week (anything pre 2000) and our new song of the week which will come from either a recent album or single dropping. So without further ado lets get started.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK

Muscadine Bloodline

muscadine-bloodline

Muscadine Bloodline- The duo made a splash with their first EP “Muscadine Bloodline” which released Jan. 20th. They also have three other singles available on spotify as well as itunes. The best thing about these guys are how real and genuine there songs feel. These aren’t your happy go lucky kinda songs that are getting a bunch of play on the radio now, but instead are ones that you can really sit down and listen to and picture yourself in the stories they tell in their songs.

Our favorites- CB radio, Porch swing Angel, crickets and cane poles, shut your mouth
